Yes yes massive! Ruff Cutz is taking over R Base for a night of heavy underground breakbeat music! We’ve got a fkn blinder in store! Three wicked headliners with audio support from our good chums PICK & MIX SOUNDSYSTEM! That’s right we’re whacking the full rig in this mother! If you’ve been to any of their recent free parties with Mendez, you know what to expect! But I know what you’re thinking, that’s all well and good, but who the hell’s playing on this big blue bastard?
Firstly we’ve got the legend that is CHAMPA B! The absolute Jungle and DnB badman with a string of amazing releases spanning such labels as Scientific Wax, Criterion Records, Green Bay Wax & Lickshot Recordings! Producing tunes in many of the sub genres, from oldskool hardcore to forward thinking Drum & Bass. Classics in every field! We’ve wanted to book this guy for time and we’re well excited to have him down!
To top it off we’ve got the absolutely wicked LEMON DRIZLAY CREW! We were gutted to not see them play at an event last year so we had to get em down to Manchester to rinse it up on the Pick & Mix rig! With their very unique sound infusing breakcore, jungle, tekno and hip hop/ragga samples you’ve no doubt heard many of their tunes in raves across the country! Every tune designed to kill off a dancefloor! What more can be said!
We’ve got also the infamous SARGY! Part of the Jungle Syndicate crew and a wicked DJ and producer! Playing a range of modern, violent Jungle! Just how we like it! Jungle Syndicate know how to throw a party and their DJs are no different! Expect breakcorey Jungle badness!
Last but by no means least we’ve got the usual bunch of cretins, the Ruff Cutz family; ATLAS, K SUPER, AMEN HOLMES & LUNA! Playing a selection of DnB, Jungle, Oldskool & Hardcore for the massive (Fkn yes mate)!
